Nonsurgical orthopedics and regenerative medicine in Cincinnati.
A diagnostic, ultrasound-driven approach to joints, tendons, ligaments, nerves, PRP, BMAC, and complex musculoskeletal problems.
Diagnosis first. Treatment second.
Nonsurgical orthopedics is not simply a collection of injections. The quality of the treatment depends on the quality of the diagnosis.
My approach combines focused examination, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, review of relevant imaging, biomechanics, and procedural options to determine what structure is actually responsible for the patient's symptoms and what treatment is most likely to help.
Joint disorders
Osteoarthritis, synovitis, cartilage and subchondral bone-related pain, and other causes of persistent joint symptoms.
Tendon & ligament
Tendinopathy, partial tears, enthesopathy, chronic ligament injuries, and difficult-to-resolve soft tissue conditions.
Peripheral nerve
Entrapment neuropathies and other nerve-related pain evaluated with anatomy and ultrasound in mind.
MSK ultrasound
Dynamic, real-time imaging for diagnosis, procedural planning, and precise image guidance.
PRP
Platelet-rich plasma selected and delivered based on tissue, pathology, evidence, and treatment goals.
BMAC & orthobiologics
Bone marrow aspirate concentrate and other regenerative approaches used thoughtfully within a broader treatment strategy.
What to expect from an evaluation.
The goal is to understand what is driving your symptoms and decide on a next step that fits your needs.
Start with your story.
We discuss when symptoms began, what makes them better or worse, the treatments you have tried, and the activities you want to return to.
Connect the examination and imaging.
A focused examination and review of relevant imaging help put your symptoms in context. Musculoskeletal ultrasound may add useful information when appropriate.
Discuss the options together.
We review the findings, what remains uncertain, and the benefits and limitations of the available options, then discuss treatment or further evaluation.

Patients frequently search for stem cell therapy when they are looking for regenerative treatment options. In clinical practice, the more precise terminology often includes orthobiologics such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC).
The important question is not whether a treatment sounds advanced. It is whether the biology, target tissue, diagnosis, preparation, procedural technique, and available evidence make sense for a particular patient.
